2.56.3 Applying camouflage

A character can apply camouflage to his/her clothing or body to improve his/her chances of successfully hiding at a later time. The camouflage must be appropriate to the circumstances in which the character will be hiding to give a bonus to the hiding dice roll. For example, painting face and body with mottled greens and browns would help in a jungle situation, black tiger stripes would help for hiding in shadows, etc. It takes time to apply camouflage, so this must be done in advance.

To apply camouflage successfully, the character makes a dice roll using his/her Stealth (including Applying camouflage specialism) + CO.

The dice roll result determines the modifier applied to the hiding dice roll:
